Biography
Claes holds an MSc in Mechanics from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and has a comprehensive background in Swedish industry where he has been working with companies as Electrolux, Scania and ESSELTE. He has been head of the patent department at the Swedish Patent Office, PRV and CEO at Albihns, at that time the second largest patent attorney law firm in Sweden. Since 2010 Claes is senior partner at Search-a-patent AB and is working in IP searches and IP strategic assignments for mostly the Swedish industry. He is also a sought after speaker in the area of explaining IP in an understandable and useful way.
